Please Wash Your Hands Picture For Bathroom
Here I am making the picture for the bathroom. It matches the shelf I made earlier.
I took the mat from the 8x10 picture frame. Placed the picture of the baby hands washing and the purple stock paper behind it. I made sure that is where I wanted it and glued the picture to the card stock, then the card stock to the mat. I cut ribbon to go on each side of the picture.
I then used a glue stick to paste the bigger ribbon on the top and bottom of the mat. I cut more smaller ribbon and purple card stock that came off the excess behind the mat.
I glued the purple card stock then glued the green ribbon on each side of them.
I then measured the space that was left of the mat on top of the picture. I took green polka dot card stock and drew my PLEASE WASH HANDS with a pencil.
I cut out the letters, pasted them above the picture and below. Cut out three flowers from the ribbon and pasted them.
Here is the finished picture!

Black things!
I have a black couch that seems to get things lost on it. Yes thats what I said, lost on it! For instance, today as I was taking pics for my post about my latest craft, I put my camera down on my black over sized chair. Then I got to doing other things for awhile and when I decided to use the camera I had forgot about setting it down there. I had my daughter Acacia come help me find it... She found it on the chair!
Another thing that gets lost on my black couch or chair is my chihuahua, LUNA. She is black with a white mark on her chest and her chin. If she is sleeping on the couch or chair you can't see her and she has been or almost been sat on several times!
I teased Acacia and told her that I need to take white paint and put 2 stripes down her back, like the pepe la pew cartoons, then she'd be seen and would look like a skunk!!

Theres a story behind this craft. I am in need of finishing one of my bathrooms.
Ok, I found this cute shelf at a thrift store out of town. For an amazing one dollar bill!!
I needed to clean the shelf. It was very dusty and had a few spots of who knows what it was!!! I used green works.
I chose purple, green and white for the colors I wanted to use. I used a small brush. In this picture there is a sponge brush which I decided did not work well so I swapped it with a bigger paint brush.
I had some flower ribbon that I bought earlier (for a picture project) and glued it to the top and bottom of the shelf. I painted white and purple on the heart followed by dots I made from the tip of the wood on the brush.
Here is the finished product! Don't look at the pitiful light switch, like I said the bathroom is getting a makeover!!!!
